Acme Fintech shows a real payment fraud threat, but a buyer gets no customer results, no product screens and no objection answers. The story needs rebuilding before the design.

The Allenix framework: 8 sections in the order buyers think.

Slide by slide: where it loses the buyer

Slide 7Major gap

Advisor quote with no headline

Replace the advisor quote with a named customer in your segment, logo and title.
Add dated before and after numbers for counterparty adoption and onboarding time.
Write a claim headline so the slide carries the proof on its own.

Slide 8Major gap

Legacy banks only, six items

Add a requirements slide before this one with 3 to 5 criteria.
Grade banks, manual callbacks, doing nothing and other tools against them.
Cut the six items to 3 points and give partial credit.

Slide 13Major gap

Solve it with Acme Fintech

Source or cut the half-the-cost claim.
Replace bare claims with go-live steps, client effort and timing.
Answer cost, IT and guarantee questions with a policy or number.

Slide 6Minor gap

Two news examples

Print a source for the growth-rate claim or remove it.
Keep one news example and cut the other to save space.
State the stakes for an investment firm in one plain sentence.

Slide 11Minor gap

Security checks as icons

Show real product screens in place of the icon row.
Replace 'eliminates the risk' with a claim a contract can back.
Keep the SOC 2 Type 2 badge and state what it covers.

Slide 9Keep

Purpose-built platform with market figures

Keep the McKinsey and FBI figures with their printed sources.
Add a cost of inaction line using your buyer's own volume.
Pair the market figures with one customer result.

The forward test: what a buyer's AI says about this deck

What the seller wants remembered

Acme Fintech makes high-value payments at investment firms safe through payment verification, so firms can end payment fraud risk quickly and without IT.

What a buyer's AI would say, from the slide text

The deck says investment firms face rising payment fraud and that inertia and bank processes add risk. It presents Acme Fintech as a purpose-built platform for payment verification with identity checks, payment matching and SOC 2 verification. It claims half the cost per transaction and setup within 2 days.

What survived, and what was lost

Kept the risk story and the product claims. Lost any customer proof, the reason Acme Fintech differs, how it works and the next step.

The champion test: what the people who never saw the pitch will ask

CFO

What does this cost and what is the payback on our volume?
Which customer has saved money, and where is the evidence?

IT or security

How does it connect to our banks and our administrator or ERP?
What does SOC 2 Type 2 cover, and what happens if fraud still gets through?

Treasury or operations lead

How many counterparties actually adopt it, and how hard is onboarding?
What do we tell counterparties who resist?

6

Answer objections before they're asked

Decks get forwarded. These slides arm your champion.

No customer voice appears in the deck, so these are likely questions by role, drawn from the scoring tests and⁴.

Objections

What each buyer will ask before saying yes

What does this cost and what is the payback on our volume?

CFO

Show a formula with your volume, fees and loss exposure.

Add a sourced savings basis and a payback on one customer's real volume.

How does it connect to our banks and our administrator or ERP?

IT or security

It sits as a control layer over existing banks.

Name the connection steps, the client effort and the SOC 2 Type 2 scope from an independent auditor.

What happens if a fraudulent payment still gets through?

IT or security

Say what is covered if fraud gets through, with limits.

State what any insurance or guarantee covers, with limits and exclusions, confirmed in writing.

How many counterparties adopt it, and how hard is onboarding?

Treasury or operations lead

Show adoption rate and onboarding time from a named customer.

Use dated figures from the named customer on the website, with a title holder quote.

What do we tell counterparties who resist?

Treasury or operations lead

Give a short message for counterparties and a named support step.

Add the steps Acme Fintech takes with counterparties, with timing for each.

7

Close with 3 steps to live

Make the next step easy to say yes to.

Deals stall when the buying group cannot agree, so the close must lower effort and set a dated step¹.

Path to go live

Live in days, with one dated first step

Day 01

Kickoff

Confirm the banks, the administrator or ERP and the finance owner. List the client effort needed.

Day 12

Connect accounts

Link existing bank accounts and verify the first parties, with no IT work if the claim holds.

Day 23

First approved payment

Release one approved payment and show the audit log as the first wow moment.

Week 24

Roll out to the wider team

Send invitations to the payees you pay most, with a support contact.

Book the kickoff by a set date so the first approved payment runs within 2 days.

The 2-day timing needs a customer example before it goes on the slide.

The detail: every score, every claim, every source

Why it scores 39

Slides 3 to 6 and 8 spend the deck on threats, and the growth-rate claim has no source¹.

No customer, logo or result appears, so buyers cannot match Acme Fintech to their own situation².

Buyers will check claims like half the cost and live within 2 days with AI, and find no backing³.
